On 13 September 2007 the Department of Tourism, Fair Trading and Wine Industry Development was abolished, with its offices now being relocated to a number of Queensland Government departments. These are as follows:

Tourism and Wine Industry Development are now located within the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry.

The Office of Fair Trading is now incorporated within the Department of Justice and Attorney-General.

The Liquor Licensing Division is now incorporated into Queensland Treasury's portfolio.

The Office for Women is now a part of the Department of Child Safety.

The dispute resolution services agencies, including the Body Corporate and Community Management and the Commercial and Consumer Tribunal have also moved to the Department of Justice and Attorney-General.

The services previously provided to Queenslanders by this department will continue to be delivered under the departments listed above.
