- Queensland had more than 6586 licensed premises at 30 June 2006.
- 12077 licence and permit applications were processed in the year to 30 June 2006.
- The Division processes more than 8710 permits annually, which authorise the sale of liquor on one-off occasions across the State.
- 2766 complaints in relation to licensed premises were received in 2005-06, with noise complaints topping the list and accounting for about one fifth (523).
- 2323 or 84 per cent of complaints were finalised in 2005-06.
- 8057 investigations were undertaken in 2005-06, including 6157 targeted compliance investigations during peak liquor trading hours.
- 17362 Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Program Certificates of Attainment were issued in 2005-06. Since the program began in 1997, more than 33 000 liquor industry workers have been trained in responsible serving practices in licensed premises.
- Since the commencement of mandatory training in the Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) on 1 January 2004, 4422 licensees and nominees have completed the training.
